Education: After attending Purdue University for three years, I earned a BS in Communication and Public Advocacy with related areas of Accounting and Economics from Ohio University in 2008.
Background: Before finishing receiving my BS at Ohio University, I worked with the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) in Washington, DC as the National Outreach Coordinator. Although I had previously been interested in grassroots organizing, NORML allowed me numerous opportunities to develop an interest into a passion.
Specialization Interest: I wish to use my participation in the Relating and Organizing track to further my passion for both drug and environmental policy reform. On a much broader scale, I wish to analyze the importance of various aspects of social movements on both participants and observers of those movements.
