Education: I earned a BA in Communication Studies from Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY) in 2003, a MS in Communication from Illinois State University (Normal, IL) in 2005, and my Ph.D. in Communication Studies from Ohio University (Athens, OH) in June 2012.

Specialization Interest: My primary area of interest is New Communication Technology. Specifically, I am interested in how people communicate within online multiplayer games such as Halo 3. My other areas of interest include Health Communication, Instructional Communication, and Quantitative Research Methods.
