I'm a 2006 graduate of the Scripps College's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, where I majored in journalism with an emphasis on public relations. After completing my degree, I moved to Chattanooga to work as part of a manufacturers' representative group. I returned to Athens in 2008, and have worked in the university's development office since that time.
My professional experience has revolved around communication, organizational development, marketing and information management. I'm particularly intrigued by both the implications of evolving technology on communication and communication within the context of higher education.
Outside of academia, I enjoy writing, motorcycling, gadgets, distance running, and soccer.
