Pursuing a passion to teach, I gained my B. A. in English Language Education from Hebei Normal University (2001) and an M. A. in English Language and Literature from China University of Mining and Technology (2004). During the past four years I taught English at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, where I developed my interest in studying and enhancing students’ motivation in language learning classes.
I am currently in the Relating and Organizing track of Communication Studies, and my primary interests are in exploring Instructional Communication and Quantitative Research Methods. I am looking forward to examining various teaching methodologies and teacher-student interactions that I will be exposed to while in the program. I am also interested in the cross-cultural impact on students’ language transfer system.
