My research interests include Health and Interpersonal Communication. Specifically, I study privacy boundaries constructed by families and interpersonal dyads. My research interests focus mainly on sexuality/sexual health and the privacy/disclosure dialectic that accompanies the tension surrounding this information.
I am originally from Moorhead Minnesota. I received my B.A. from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Communication Studies and Philosophy. I attended North Dakota State University for a M.A. in Speech Communication. In the fall of 2007 I moved to Athens to attend Ohio University for my Ph.D. in Communication Studies.
