Wuttichai Phaovanich

I come from Bangkok, Thailand. I did my Bachelor of Arts in English (Linguistics and Literature) at Chulalongkorn University. Then I pursued a Masters degree in English for Careers (Communicative English) at the Language Institute of Thammasat University. Later, I mainly worked as an officer of foreign affairs, responsible for international business contact and customer relationship at my family company; meanwhile, I was a part-time English lecturer at both private universities and schools in Thailand.

Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in a joint program in communication studies between Bangkok and Ohio Universities. With my educational and working background, my areas of research interest include discourse studies, cross-linguistics studies, pedagogical communication, intercultural communication, and communication research tools.

In my free time, I like watching news and documentary programs or playing sports, such as swimming, tennis, etc.
